Since 2004, Estonia is eligible for Transition Facility, the new EU aid resource which continues to support the fields financed within the framework of the Phare program after the accession to the EU. The goal of Transition Facility is to increase the speed of Estonia’s institutional development to and to bring the administration system to the level of the EU requirements.

The Ministry of Finance arranges the Transition Faculty project applications and usage in Estonia. More information about the projects is available at the Ministry of Finance webpage and the European Union enlargement portal

There are currently five Phare and Transition Facility projects underway in the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice.
